Cohort 4 starts Monday. Cohort 3 already answered its questions.
Your learners get a place to ask, office hours to join, and every solved answer from the groups before them.
Free under 50 members. Most cohorts fit.
Yes. Everything runs in the browser. Ask IT to allow the design tool's site first.
The problem with a group chat per cohort
It resets every time
A new chat for each group means the answers from the last one are gone, or buried where the new group will never scroll.
It mixes everything
Logistics, homework help and memes in one stream. The question about the deadline sinks under forty messages.
What carries over, and what stays private
Each cohort gets a Flow, its own space. Each question, workshop or announcement inside it is a Wave.
Solved questions
Tool setup, deadlines, how grading works. Each with the answer the asker marked best.
A head start
Put both Flows in one Room. New learners can find old answers and message alumni, while each cohort keeps its own feed.
A cohort week in Dium
Monday: the brief
You post an announcement and pin it to the top of the feed. Comments can be off.
Midweek: the workshop
A live session with a seat limit, breakout tables for small-group critique and a poll to close.
Any day: the questions
Learners ask. Peers and mentors answer. The best answer gets marked and stays for the next cohort.
Before your first cohort
Do I need a new Flow each cohort?
You can use one Flow for everyone, or one per cohort grouped in a Room. Most programs pick one per cohort so feeds stay focused.
Does Dium host my course videos?
No, and it does not take payments. Keep your course platform for lessons. Dium vs Skool explains the difference.
